Playing together
Playing together, paying differently
You don't need to match membership types to play with friends, family, or other club users. Members, Day Members, Napton residents, and non-residents can all book and play on the same court, in the same session, together. Day Membership (Pay to Play) allows you to play padel at the club without committing to monthly or annual membership fees — become a member for the day and pay for the court hire as a day member.
Each player is simply charged at their own rate:
- Members pay the lower member court hire rate; Day Members pay the non-member rate.
- Napton residents get a 10% discount on Day Membership court hire.
- Time of day — off-peak (9am–4pm, Monday–Friday) is cheaper than peak hours and weekends, for whoever is playing that session.

Court hire calculator
Shows what you, individually, would pay for your own share of a court — as one of up to 4 players who may each be on a different rate.
Court hire rates don't vary by age or disability — Under 16s, Over 65s and people with disabilities pay the same Member or Day Member court hire rate as everyone else in their category. Only the membership fee itself differs, via the flat Concession rate.

Membership reductions
- Napton villagers 10% membership fee reduction, applied on top of your membership category's rate. You may be asked to give proof of address.
- Concession Under 16s, Over 65s and people with disabilities qualify for the flat £20/month Concession membership rate instead of the £25 Adult rate. The 10% Napton discount can still be applied on top of the Concession rate if you're also a Napton villager. See Monthly & Annual Membership for full Concession pricing.
Players outside the Napton parish area can still join the club as members (standard or founding) or use Day Membership. They do not receive the Napton village discount.

Court hire prices shown are provisional and may change.
Court hire is charged per player, not per court. Whoever books the court, each player who plays pays their own applicable rate, based on their own membership status and the time of day.
Transparency
Why our prices are what they are
Building Napton Padel Club's two outdoor courts cost over £280,000. The majority of this was funded through loans, with the remainder coming from grants and fundraising. As a charitable community organisation, every penny of income beyond our running costs goes toward repaying this capital investment — there are no shareholders and no profit being taken out.
Our membership and court hire prices are set to make sure we can repay these loans within a sensible timeframe, while keeping padel as accessible as possible to the local community. This isn't about maximising revenue — it's about building a facility that will belong to Napton for decades to come, on a financial footing that's sustainable rather than one that leaves the club vulnerable.
To reflect our roots and our mission, Napton villagers benefit from discounted membership and court hire rates compared to non-village members. We want this club to be something the village built and the village enjoys, and our pricing structure is designed with that in mind.
