Can I play if I do not live in Napton?
Yes. Membership and Day Membership (Pay to Play) are open beyond Napton. The 10% village discount is only for Napton villagers.
Do Napton residents get a discount?
Yes. Napton villagers receive a 10% membership fee reduction. You may be asked to give proof of address.
Can members and non-members play together in the same session?
Yes. Members, Day Members, Napton residents and non-residents can all book and play together on the same court — you don't need matching membership types. Each player is simply charged at their own rate: members pay less than Day Members, Napton residents get 10% off, and off-peak times are cheaper than peak/weekend times for everyone in the session.
Can I borrow equipment?
Yes. Everyone can borrow balls and rackets for free, including members, Day Members and visitors, for use during their booked session only.

Can I play without becoming a member?
Yes. Day Membership (Pay to Play) allows you to play padel at the club without committing to monthly or annual membership fees — become a member for the day and pay for the court hire as a day member, at a higher court hire rate and with 3-day advance booking.
What booking system is used?
My Clubhouse manages court availability, payments, invites and bookings.
Why are your prices what they are?
Building Napton Padel Club's two outdoor courts cost over £280,000. The majority of this was funded through loans, with the remainder coming from grants and fundraising. As a charitable community organisation, every penny of income beyond our running costs goes toward repaying this capital investment — there are no shareholders and no profit being taken out.
Our membership and court hire prices are set to make sure we can repay these loans within a sensible timeframe, while keeping padel as accessible as possible to the local community. This isn't about maximising revenue — it's about building a facility that will belong to Napton for decades to come, on a financial footing that's sustainable rather than one that leaves the club vulnerable.
To reflect our roots and our mission, Napton villagers benefit from discounted membership and court hire rates compared to non-village members. We want this club to be something the village built and the village enjoys, and our pricing structure is designed with that in mind.
