Licensing Update

We signed and returned the Statutory Declaration to Napton Parish Council (NPC) at the end of August. We understand the Diocese is finalising the leases with NPC. There do not seem to be any outstanding issues, it just takes time.

2

Registration for Membership

One hundred and thirty-five people have now registered for membership details — with nearly 40% from Napton itself. That matches our expectations well, and echoes last year's village survey, where 98% of responding households supported padel coming to the village. It's a great reason to get this finalised.

People who have registered will get advance notice of when membership is open – so if you have not registered yet, please do so at naptonpadel.org/priority-list

Planning Permission and Construction Contract

Final planning conditions for the retaining wall have now been approved by Stratford planners, and our contractors, On-Point, are also ready to start work, so we're ready to go as soon as the leases are available to sign.

Thank You

A huge thank you to everyone who has supported the project, registered for membership and stuck with us during what has been a longer journey than we originally anticipated. It means a great deal to know there is so much enthusiasm and support for padel within our local community.

And, as always, we are extremely grateful to RMF Construction Ltd, our commercial sponsor, for their continued support.
